4 Things I Strive To Do In My Life

Love Others

We should love others in everything we do. Loving others comes with being sincere and kind towards everybody, even if they aren’t nice to you back. Loving others doesn’t just need to happen when you want it to, but really loving others means doing it all the time. I think we should make loving others one of our top priorities every day.

Show Grace

We should show grace to everyone. No human deserves grace, but we all get grace from God. We can also show grace to others in many ways.  For instance, if someone makes a mistake, or if they do even something mean or rude on purpose, you should let it go and forgive them for their hurtful actions.  Jesus is, by far, the best at showing grace, and we should want show grace, too. Showing grace can go a long way. You’d be surprised.

Be Fair

We should be fair at all times whether it is in a secret your friend told you not to tell or something like disobeying the rules in a sports game. Telling the truth goes along with being fair, so we should make sure to do just that.  It may seem like it’s not a big deal when you’re a kid, but when you get older, there will be bigger consequences like being fired from a job, being put in prison, or losing a friend because you lied to them.

Be Optimistic

We should be optimistic as much as possible.  For starters, being optimistic does not mean that you can never be sad, but it means to look on the bright side of things whenever possible.  There are times when we shouldn’t be optimistic, like at a funeral or when someone else is sad.  It will then make them feel like you don’t care about their feelings, even if you really do. Being optimistic, on the other hand, makes life so much more fun and joyful for everyone.  Instead of thinking about the bad things in life, being optimistic helps you think of all the good and happy things in life, which is honestly really fun to do.
